I am proud to call Forest Acres home. I currently live in the same neighborhood where I was raised and now my boys ride their bikes on the same streets that I did. I graduated from Cardinal Newman High School and went on to Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia. I then spent seven years working in finance in Charlotte and returned home to raise a family and build my professional career in commercial real estate. My lovely wife Rula and I have two boys who attend Richland One schools.
I am a firm believer in smart growth, public safety and community. I am grateful to have been elected twice in 2021 to Forest Acres City Council. The first time was a special election when Mr. Shell Suber stepped down and a second time a few months later in the general election. I am committed to preserving Forest Acres' unique charm while addressing the evolving needs of our community. During my tenure, I have championed initiatives to enhance public safety, advocated for local businesses, and secured grant funding to study our primary roads—all while ensuring that the city remains fiscally responsible.
As a principal at the local commercial real estate firm Wilson Kibler, Inc., I bring a business perspective in understanding the needs of our city and the value of our city staff, public works and police department. I am also able to leverage this real estate knowledge as it relates to market conditions, trends and budgets, all for the betterment of our city.
In my free time, I enjoy community events, coaching youth sports, spending time with my family, and meeting friends at one of our local restaurants.
I remain focused on building a brighter future for Forest Acres—one that honors its traditions while embracing the best opportunities for progress.
